The Oye2Foundation Team Representatives from the Ministry of Health, including Mrs. Adedeji Christiana and her colleagues Mrs. Folashade Adegbenjo, a brave cancer survivor and advocate Market executives and numerous members of the Bodija Market community
The event commenced with an introduction to Oye2Foundation and our mission, followed by an insightful presentation from our team on the importance of cancer awareness and early detection. Mrs. Adedeji then gave an enlightening talk on cervical cancer—covering its signs, prevention strategies, and the critical need for regular screening.
Participants engaged in a thoughtful question-and-answer session, where they shared concerns and posed insightful questions. The session concluded with a moving testimony from Mrs. Folashade Adegbenjo, who shared her personal journey as a cancer survivor, inspiring the audience with her strength and resilience. Her story left a lasting impression, reinforcing the importance of early detection and seeking help.
Following the program, one participant shared with our team that she had noticed symptoms similar to those discussed. She was encouraged to visit our office for further guidance and support. This interaction highlights the lasting impact and relevance of the program in raising awareness and prompting individuals to seek timely medical attention.
