OYENIKE OYEKAN MARKS IT'S 5TH YEARS ANNIVERSARY
The Oyenike Oyekan Foundation has marked its 5th anniversary with a series of events aimed at empowering widows, promoting health awareness, and continuing its advocacy for early cancer detection and treatment.
The 5th year anniversary celebration began on Friday 7th November 2020 with a widow health education talk and empowerment programme at the organization headquarters by the mother of late Mrs Oyenike Oyekan, Mrs Omodele Ernestina Oyekan.
The anniversary continued on Saturday, November 8, 2020, with a solemn graveside visit to honour the late Oyenike Oyekan, the foundation’s inspiration. Later that day, activities shifted to the foundation’s Bodija office for a free prostate and breast cancer screening and a public health talk on cancer awareness.
